Set in a small town municipal tavern in northern Minnesota, "Pokegama Hotel" is an afternoon with the hotel's bartender, Fay, and the many characters that frequent the bar. Be it a kind word or a daily dose of friendly banter, they find it at the Pokegama Hotel.
The musical is written by local singer/songwriter and music educator, Gail Sparlin. Fay is Gail's mother and the show is based on Gail's real life experiences growing up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Tickets are $15 General Admission/$13 for Students with ID's and Senior Citizens. Performances are in the Quest Theater (826 State Street, Schenectady). Seating is cabaret seating and on first come-first serve basis. There will be no intermission. Desserts and beverages will be available during mocktail hour and music will be provided by local musicians starting at 7:15PM.
